Thank you for the opportunity to share my Artistic Journey with you.
The Journey began in January 2005. By chance, I saw a watercolor class being taught in a local hobby store. Each student working at their own pace and skill level. The class was casual and comfortable. The way Lani described her teaching process...I thought maybe I can do this. So immediately I began taking classes with Lani Anderson. Lani sees something beautiful in everything anyone paints. The class is a mutual admiration society! It is exactly what I need to soothe my nerves after a stressful and pressure-filled corporate day. For me watercolors are relaxing...set up and clean up are fast and easy only 5 minutes...I get totally focused on the process and forget everything else...watercolors quickly replaced snacking as my favorite hobby.
Being creative rejuvenates me and being around creative friends inspires me. I hope you enjoy what you see, because I love the Journey.
